Pune is our home market and it is also the most competitive solar market in Maharashtra — which is good for you, because it means you should compare engineering, not just price. Our Pune team includes structural engineers, licensed electricians and MSEDCL-liaison staff who file net-metering applications at the Baner, Pimpri, Hadapsar and Shivajinagar circle offices every week.

Local considerations we design around

Pune rooftops bring specific challenges: RCC terraces with parapets and water tanks that create morning and afternoon shading, flat-roof arrays that need proper inter-row spacing to avoid self-shading in December, and housing societies where the common-area connection sits on a commercial tariff. We handle all three with a documented shadow analysis, tilt and pitch calculations, and separate proposals for the society and for individual flats.

What we have delivered in Pune

Our Pune portfolio includes a 25 kW system for a housing society in Baner, a 50 kW shed-mount plant in Chakan MIDC, a 5 kW hybrid system with lithium backup in Kothrud, dozens of 3 kW residential rooftops in Wakad and Hinjewadi, and PM-KUSUM solar pumps in Baramati and Junnar talukas.

Frequently asked questions – Pune

How much subsidy do I get on rooftop solar in Maharashtra?
Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, residential consumers get ₹30,000 per kW up to 2 kW and ₹78,000 in total for 3 kW and above. The amount is credited directly to your bank account after installation and net-metering are completed.
How many units does a 3 kW solar system generate per month?
In Maharashtra a well-designed 3 kW rooftop system generates roughly 340–380 units per month across the year, higher in March–April and lower during the monsoon. That typically offsets most or all of a 2–3 BHK household’s consumption.
How long does installation take after I confirm?
Structural work and installation usually take 7–14 days for residential systems once material reaches your site. Net-metering approval and meter installation by MSEDCL typically add 3–6 weeks depending on the circle office workload.
Do you help with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy application?
Yes. We register your application on the national portal with your consumer number, follow up the feasibility approval with your DISCOM, submit the commissioning certificate and track the subsidy until it is credited to your bank account.
What is the difference between on-grid and hybrid solar?
An on-grid system exports surplus power and shuts down during a grid outage for safety. A hybrid system adds a battery bank so you keep running essential loads during outages while still enjoying net-metering credit for exported units.
Can I get a solar loan or EMI?
Yes. We prepare the project report and documentation for solar loans from SBI, Bank of Baroda, HDFC and NBFCs. A 3 kW system works out to roughly ₹2,450 per month over 60 months, which is usually less than the bill it replaces.
How much roof area is needed per kW?
Around 10 m² of shadow-free area per kW for standard modules, plus maintenance clearance. Elevated structures need slightly more spacing so module rows do not shade each other in December.
Do you service systems installed by other companies?
Yes. We audit the existing installation, list defects with photographs and quotes, then take over maintenance under an AMC or perform repairs such as inverter replacement, structure reinforcement or earthing rectification.
