Solar Street Light Installation

Standalone and grid-hybrid solar street lighting for villages, societies and campuses

30W to 120W high-efficiency LED luminairesAll-in-one (integrated) or semi-integrated designsLiFePO4 / lithium batteries with 3–5 year replacement cycle

Street lighting that keeps working when the grid does not

Standalone solar street lights are the fastest way for gram panchayats, townships and industrial estates to light roads without excavation, cabling or a new connection request.

Choosing a configuration

  • Semi-integrated 30–60W: panel on the pole with the luminaire — the standard village road layout.
  • All-in-one 40–120W: neat single-unit design with motion sensing, ideal for internal society roads and factory driveways.
  • Grid-hybrid: solar during the day and grid backup in monsoon, where a connection already exists.

What matters more than wattage

Real autonomy comes from battery capacity, luminaire efficacy and the dimming profile — not the advertised panel wattage. We size batteries for 3 days of autonomy in the monsoon and program dusk-to-dawn profiles that keep roads lit from 6 PM to 6 AM through July and August.

Solar Street Light Installation FAQs

How much subsidy do I get on rooftop solar in Maharashtra?
Under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, residential consumers get ₹30,000 per kW up to 2 kW and ₹78,000 in total for 3 kW and above. The amount is credited directly to your bank account after installation and net-metering are completed.
How many units does a 3 kW solar system generate per month?
In Maharashtra a well-designed 3 kW rooftop system generates roughly 340–380 units per month across the year, higher in March–April and lower during the monsoon. That typically offsets most or all of a 2–3 BHK household’s consumption.
How long does installation take after I confirm?
Structural work and installation usually take 7–14 days for residential systems once material reaches your site. Net-metering approval and meter installation by MSEDCL typically add 3–6 weeks depending on the circle office workload.
Do you help with the PM Surya Ghar subsidy application?
Yes. We register your application on the national portal with your consumer number, follow up the feasibility approval with your DISCOM, submit the commissioning certificate and track the subsidy until it is credited to your bank account.
What is the difference between on-grid and hybrid solar?
An on-grid system exports surplus power and shuts down during a grid outage for safety. A hybrid system adds a battery bank so you keep running essential loads during outages while still enjoying net-metering credit for exported units.
Can I get a solar loan or EMI?
Yes. We prepare the project report and documentation for solar loans from SBI, Bank of Baroda, HDFC and NBFCs. A 3 kW system works out to roughly ₹2,450 per month over 60 months, which is usually less than the bill it replaces.
